Vinification & Ageing: Following destemming and gentle pressing, each variety is produced separately. Fermentation and maceration occur in stainless steel tanks for about 15-20 days at a controlled temperature never exceeding 28°C. Half of the wine is then put into 225-liter barrels made of used French and Hungarian oak, where malolactic fermentation takes place. The other half of the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks. Afterwards, the final blend is made and, subsequently, the wine is bottled.

Tasting notes: Poggio ai Ginepri was the first wine produced by Argentiera, in 2002, from the area of the same name. It has become one this wine production area’s most recognisable wines. An endless dance of extreme pleasure and delicacy that accelerates sip after sip.

dense, purple-red colour. Nose: aroma of blackcurrant, morello cherry, mulberry and black cherry, rounded off with oriental spices, cocoa bean and dark chocolate. Flavour: intense red fruits with layers of spice, red flowers, and slight balsamic notes. Round and complex but elegant tannins.
